It’s hard to find a healthy icing but this one contains cacao which does have a lot of antioxidants, so you can justify the glossy chocolatey flavour.
I have substituted frozen avocado for fresh – just use your judgement as to whether you have enough flesh in the mixture to get the final consistency to your taste.
Avocado chocolate icing
Ingredients
- 1 large avocade
- 80 ml maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 35 g raw cacao
- 60 ml rice or almond milk
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients to a smooth texture using a blender or mixer. This will firm up in the fridge. Use for icing on a cool cake and let it set in the fridge.
